Spin the wheel Chore wheel
Splitting housework without the arguing
A chore chart on the fridge tends to die after two weeks, usually because someone thinks the rotation is rigged. A wheel is harder to argue with. Each person spins for themselves, and the result comes from your browser's random generator, not from a parent or a roommate picking favorites.
The 25 jobs here are the usual ones in an American home. For younger kids, delete the ones they can't do safely, like mopping or cleaning the toilet, and keep simple tasks such as feeding the pets, setting the table and picking up toys. Teens and adults can take the full list.
Couples often use it for the jobs both people dislike. Put only those four or five on the wheel and spin once each on Sunday, so the week's dirty work is settled in a minute.

Running a chore wheel at home
- Edit the list in Entries so it matches your home: no dog, no "Walk the dog".
- Let each family member or roommate press Spin for their own job.
- After each spin, choose Remove from wheel so two people can't land on the same chore.
- At the end of the week, press Put all back under Set aside and start a fresh round.

Chore wheel questions
How do I make the big jobs count more?
Use weights for this: if cleaning the bathroom should come up less often than setting the table, give the small jobs more weight, like Set the table *2. Or let a big job count as two turns in your house rules.
Can each kid have a different wheel?
Yes. Make one wheel per age group, give each a title such as "Chores for Mia", and they will all be saved under My wheels in this browser.
Can roommates use it from their own phones?
Press Share and send the link to the group chat. Everyone opens the same list. Each copy spins separately, though, so agree on one person or one device doing the official spin.
Is there a version for adults only?
Use this one and strip out the kid tasks like picking up toys. Add the jobs that cause friction in your place, such as cleaning the oven or paying the utility bills.
