    The wheel says

How to use the yes or no wheel

    1. Type your question above the wheel, or just keep it in your head.
    2. Click the wheel, press Spin or hit the space bar.
    3. Read the answer. It goes into Earlier answers together with your question.
    4. Switch on Add Maybe when a plain yes or no feels too strict.

    When people spin it

    Small decisions

Pizza tonight? A run before work? When both answers are fine, the wheel ends the back-and-forth in five seconds.

    Party games

Truth or dare, forfeits, or whether the loser sings. Put the page on the TV, and nobody argues with a wheel.

    In class

Let the wheel decide whether the class gets a bonus question or who starts a debate on the yes side. Children accept a wheel's verdict more easily than a teacher's.

    Streams

Let chat ask a question and spin live. Everyone watches the same wheel, and because the draw is fair, nobody can say you rigged it.

Questions about the yes or no wheel

    Is it really 50/50?

Yes. Yes and No each cover half of the wheel and have exactly the same chance. The answer is picked the moment you spin, by the secure random generator built into your browser, and the animation cannot change it.

    What does Maybe change?

With Add Maybe switched on, the wheel has three answers, each with a one in three chance. It suits questions where the honest answer is “not yet” or “depends”.

Can the wheel predict the future?

No. It is chance, not an oracle. Use it for choices where either answer is fine, and not for health, money or safety, where a coin toss is the wrong advisor.

    Where are my questions saved?

Only in this browser, in Earlier answers. There is no account and no server, so we never see what you ask. Press Clear to delete the list.

Can I use my own answers?

Yes, with the regular wheel on this site: type any answers, one per line, and spin. You can also give one answer more weight there.

    Does it cost anything?

No. The wheel is free, with no sign-up and no limit on spins. If ads ever appear on this site, they stay further down the page, never on the wheel or in the answer window.
