About Sortibo

Sortibo is a small set of random pickers for teachers, teams, families and anyone who needs a fair draw in a hurry.

Why we built it

Picking a name should take one second. The popular wheel sites work, but they are slow on school laptops, cover the screen with ads and often read like a machine translation. We wanted tools that open instantly on a phone, look good on a projector and speak your language properly.

Our rules

Fair draws. Every result comes from the secure random generator built into your browser (crypto.getRandomValues), and no entry gets an edge.

Your data stays with you. There are no accounts and no server that stores lists. What you type is saved in your own browser.

Nothing in the way. If ads ever appear here, they sit beside or below the tools, never on the wheel, in a result or in Present mode.

The tools

Each tool opens in a second and works the same on a phone and on a projector. We add new ones from time to time, and this list always shows every tool you can use today:

• Spin the wheel
Type a list, spin, get one winner.
• Random name picker
Draw one or more names, with no repeats.
• Team generator
Split a list into fair random teams.
• Secret Santa generator
Gift draw by private links, no email needed.
• Yes or no wheel
A quick yes, no or maybe.
• Random letter generator
  A starting letter for Scattergories.
• Random number picker
Draw one or many numbers from any range, no repeats.
• Bingo caller
75 or 90 balls, read aloud, with a board for the projector.
