How to draw random numbers
- Type the lowest and the highest number, for example 1 and 100, or tap one of the ready ranges under the fields.
- Enter how many numbers you need in How many and press Draw. With No repeats on, every number in the result is different.
- Drawing raffle tickets one at a time? Turn on Keep drawn numbers out: a number that has come up stays out of every later draw until you start over.
- Copy the result, or press Present to show it full screen. Earlier draws stay listed beside it with the time.

What people draw numbers for
Raffles and prize draws
Number the tickets, set the range to match and draw winners one by one with Keep drawn numbers out on. Nobody wins twice, and the history shows every draw with its time.
Class register numbers
Call students by their number in the register, pick exercises from 1 to 40 or hand out random seats. Present mode makes the number readable for the whole room.
Games and turn order
Pick a page, a level, a starting player or a target for a guessing game. Draw several at once with sorting on, or leave the order as drawn to decide who goes first.
Spot checks and samples
Choose 10 rows out of 500 to check by hand, or random IDs for a survey sample. Copy the list and paste it straight into a spreadsheet.

Questions about drawing numbers
How do I draw numbers with no repeats?
Leave No repeats on: within one draw every number is different. To keep numbers out of the following draws as well, turn on Keep drawn numbers out. The page then shows how many numbers are left, and Start over puts them all back.
Is every number equally likely?
Yes. Every number in the range has exactly the same chance, low or high. The numbers come from the secure random generator built into your browser, and in a draw without repeats every set of numbers is equally likely. Nothing is sent to a server.
How many numbers can I draw at once?
Up to 1,000 per draw, from any range between minus one billion and one billion. Without repeats you cannot draw more numbers than the range holds: 1 to 10 gives at most 10.
Can I get the numbers in order?
Turn on Sort from smallest and the result comes out in ascending order. Leave it off when the order matters, for example to decide who goes first, second and third.
How is this different from a basic number generator?
A basic generator gives one number at a time and may repeat it. Here you draw many at once, block repeats within a draw and across draws, keep a history and show the result on a big screen.
Are my draws saved anywhere?
The last 100 draws stay in this browser so you can check them later. Nothing is sent to a server, and Clear deletes the list.
